The favicon.ico not showing up most of the time was fixed today. Thank you to Vulpix @ #mediawiki for singlehandedly solving this issue. Fixed the mw:Extension:MobileFrontend not having a reasonable default menu. Seems this has been requested for the past 4-5 yrs, with some hacky solutions showing up in searches, solutions that no longer work. I have been searching for a fix so that Special:RecentChanges would show up in the MobileFrontend menu. Thanks to reedy at #mediawiki for filing this ticket T260577 - "Extension:MobileFrontend/MobileMenu seems to be out of date" at WMF's Phabricator. Reedy also suggested that maybe I would like to create a ticket for "Advanced Mode" (which brings up the RC) to be default for anon users. See SSF:About
